Omar Boulos leads the Middle East Market Unit at Accenture, overseeing the business across all industries in this region, and is a member of the Global Management Committee.
Managing an extensive team, Omar is responsible for implementing the company’s vision to deliver 360° value to clients through differentiated solutions with innovative digital capabilities. His cross-functional business expertise ranges across supply chain optimization, work force transformation, manufacturing execution, order fulfillment, operational planning and more. Omar has led engagements across the globe and has worked with clients in North America, China, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Belgium, and the United Arab Emirates. As we look to grow in the Middle East and beyond, his cross-industry expertise brings a necessary strategic focus.
Prior to his current role, Omar was Client Group Lead for US South Resources and the Resources Industry Group Lead for North America, where he guided our clients through major supply and demand disruptions. He created a resilient portfolio by partnering with our clients’ C-suites in their Total Enterprise Reinvention journeys, executing a client portfolio strategy to expand market share, and creating an inclusive environment that brings together all of Accenture.
Omar previously served as the regional business lead for the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey. He has led our business in Turkey since we opened an office in the region in 2011, focusing on digital transformation partnerships and fostering C-suite relationships and growing our portfolio into a stand-alone Market Unit.
Omar is an advocate of equity and education for all, serving on several non-profit and advisory boards in the space, the latest being a member of the Executive Committee for the Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas. In September 2022, Omar was recognized by Yahoo Finance as a leader who champions women in business and drives change for gender diversity, as part of its “Heroes Top 35 Advocate Executives” list. He deeply believes in investing time in people to help them achieve their full potential and is a frequent speaker at industry forums and events.
Omar graduated with a bachelor’s degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
