Jean-Marc Ollagnier is the Chief Executive Officer of Accenture in Europe, Middle East and Africa, with management oversight of all industries and services in the region, which accounted for over $22 billion of Accenture’s revenues in fiscal year 2023. He is also a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee since 2011.
Jean-Marc has lead Europe since March 2020 and Middle East Africa since September 2023. Before March 2020, he was Group Chief Executive of Accenture’s Resources group since 2011 serving the energy, utilities, chemicals, forestry products, metals and mining industries.
Between 2006 and 2011, Jean-Marc served as managing director for Accenture’s Resources group in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America. And prior to this role, between 2003 and 2006, he was country managing director of Accenture in France and the Benelux countries, and has held leadership roles in France and globally within Accenture’s Financial Services operating group.
Outside of Accenture, Jean-Marc is an active speaker and contributor to international institutions and business coalitions on subjects related to energy, energy transition, market deregulation, climate change, sustainability, as well as the digital transformation of industries. He frequently contributes to international forums and coalitions such as Business Europe, the European Green Digital Coalition, Movin’ on, the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), Business for Inclusive Growth (B4IG) with OECD, the World Economic Forum (WEF), the Conference Of the Parties (COP). He was the co-chair (from 2011 to 2020) of the Global Energy Board, which brings together C-level executives, senior policy makers and prominent thought leaders from the global energy industry.
Jean-Marc joined Accenture in 1986 and became partner in 1997. He holds a degree in engineering from Telecom Paris, with a specialty in computer science.
