Andrea Brueckner leads Corporate Function Reinvention for Accenture and is a member of the Global Management Committee.
Andrea is also the Senior Client Account Lead for one of the world’s leading life sciences companies. She previously served as Client Account Lead, Europe, responsible for building and growing relationships with the world’s leading companies operating in Europe to drive client value and co-innovation. Before that, Andrea led the Life Sciences industry group, with responsibility for growing and developing the practice in Europe and Latin America.
Prior to joining Accenture, Andrea worked in the healthcare practice of a leading strategy consulting firm in Germany, Switzerland and in the United States. She worked with Boehringer Mannheim/Roche in the United Kingdom and Germany as a business analyst, where she was responsible for strategic planning for consumer health care and biochemicals.
Andrea has more than 25 years of experience in the life sciences industry. One of her deepest areas of expertise is advising life sciences companies at the intersection of medical, technology and data sciences to transform the way treatments are discovered, developed and delivered—and to ultimately improve patient care.
She has worked with numerous clients on topics such as digital platforms and health solutions, multi-channel and digital enablement, and marketing and sales optimization. She has extensive experience with corporate and business unit strategy development, large-scale transformation and process optimization.
Andrea joined Accenture in 2000 and became a managing director in 2006. She studied business administration and attended graduate courses in marketing and sales at Harvard Extension School. Andrea has authored several articles and delivered numerous speeches on topics related to life sciences.
